After-Treatment Care
Keep the treatment instructions, track fresh evidence, and coordinate cleaning or repairs with the company that performed the work.
Use the Instructions for the Actual Treatment
Keep the written record and follow the product-specific re-entry, ventilation, cleaning, and handling directions supplied by the provider. Do not use a generic website timeframe to decide when an area is ready.
If an instruction is unclear or missing, contact the servicing company before entering or changing the treated area.
Coordinate Cleaning & Prevention
Ask what can be cleaned immediately and what should remain undisturbed. Baits, monitors, treated surfaces, and exclusion repairs may have different requirements.
Repairing moisture, managing food and waste, and organizing access can support the plan. Confirm sequencing before sealing routes where rodents or other pests may still be active.
Track Fresh Activity
Record the date, location, type of sign, and whether activity is changing. Compare fresh signs with the original inspection notes instead of judging progress from a single isolated sighting.
Take photos when safe. Report new indoor swarmers, persistent trails, fresh rodent evidence, or activity in a different area to the responsible provider.
Know the Recheck Plan
Ask how long the provider expects the selected method to take, which signs call for a recheck, and whether a follow-up visit is included or separately charged.
A website page does not establish a warranty or free return visit. Read Coverage & Follow-Up alongside the written agreement.
If You Have a Safety Concern
Contact the company that applied the product and keep the treatment details available. For immediate danger or a suspected medical emergency, use appropriate emergency assistance.
See Safety and the EPA’s pesticide-use guidance for general context.
